In a social media post, Ayabonga Cawe, chief commissioner at ITAC, says: “We would like to take this opportunity to notify our stakeholders of a security compromise experienced by the trade regulator, ITAC. Following the attack, the report says the IT system had been shut down while security measures, such as firewalls, had been updated.
